SAMPLE RECIPE
Breakfast Pie & Hearty Scramble Breakfast Pie
Breakfast Pie

2 cups cooked or canned HAM (diced)
1 cup CHEDDAR CHEESE (shredded)
1 1/2 cups MILK (fresh or canned)
3/4 cup BUTTERMILK BAKING MIX
3 EGGS (slightly beaten)
1 tsp. CELERY FLAKES
1/4 cup SALSA

Spread ham evenly in bottom of greased 9 or 10-inch pie pan. Sprinkle with one-half cup cheese. Combine next four ingredients and mix well. Pour over ham and cheese. Spoon salsa over top of pie; sprinkle with rest of cheese and bake at 400 degrees for 35 minutes (or until knife inserted into middle of the pie comes out clean). (4 to 6 servings)

Hearty Scramble

3 Tbsp. MARGARINE
1 cup cooked or canned POTATOES (diced)
3 EGGS (beaten)
3 Tbsp. MILK
1 tsp. CELERY SEED
1 Tbsp. DRIED ONION (minced or chopped)
1/4 cup BACON BITS

Melt margarine in fry pan and lightly brown potatoes. Beat eggs with milk, celery seed and onion. Pour over potatoes. Add bacon bits. Stir to mix and scramble. (Serves 4)
