2001 -- From across Colorado innkeepers and owners of bed and breakfast establishments share their guests' favorite dishes in the new recipe book, Eating Inn Style! Colorado Cook Book, compiled by Lynne Cragg. The participating B & Bs include such historical landmarks as the Cleveholm Manor in Redstone, the Queen Ann Bed & Breakfast Inn located in downtown Denver, and the Creede Hotel in the old mining town of Creede high in the San Juan Mountains.
Recipes feature something delicious for every occasion. Elegant breakfast dishes include Islander French Toast, Overnight Yeast Waffles and Breakfast Poached Pears. Another chapter centers on brunch menus that serve up to 10 people. Selections include Ruffled Crepes Isabel, Santa Fe Pastry with Salsa, and Mexi-Quiche.
